  • Fresh Ideas for Advent and Christmas, a workshop sponsored by the Congregational Innovation Team

Fresh Ideas for Advent and Christmas, a workshop sponsored by the Congregational Innovation Team

    Saturday, October 28, 2017

10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon (coffee and donuts at 9:30)

First Presbyterian Church, 300 School St, Clarks Summit PA

Bill Carter and Jim Thyren invite you to join them for a Saturday morning of sharing ideas and resources for Advent and Christmas. Feeling stuck? Need to freshen up the Advent wreath? Wondering how to engage your congregation in the disciplines of Advent and the celebration of Christ's birth? Come and join them for this workshop. It's open to all church leaders: preachers and poets, Sunday School teachers and musicians, those ordained and those who aren't. In other words, all are welcome!

The workshop is free, but your admission "ticket" is to bring something to share all other participants. Have a good prayer? A song that you rewrote for lighting the Advent candles? A great idea for dusting off an old Christmas pageant? Bring it with you. Let's get together and spark some creative energy.

To register, send an e-mail to Bill at pastor@fpccs.org  by Wednesday, October 25. We need to know who is coming so that there are sufficient resources for everybody.
